Fundador Brandy
"Fundador" is Spanish for "The Founder", which makes sense, as this is one of the first bottles of Brandy produced in the Jerez region of Spain (where Sherry is Made), Fundador Brandy is one of the best values in all of spirits, let alone Brandy.
For a fraction of the price of French Cognac, you get a very mellow and smooth style of Brandy, with ample notes of butterscotch and caramel cream. Fundador is aged in Sherry casks, which impart much of this delicious flavor to the spirit.

Torres 10 Gran Reserva Imperial Brandy
This Brandy is from the Penedes region of Spain, which has been known for white wines, and Torres has been making wine here since the 1870's. Torres Brandy uses grapes from these same old vineyards, which are carefully cultivated and tended to by the Torres family. The Torres 10 Gran Reserva is a testament to the quality of a long aging process. The oak contributes an unparalleled richness. Dark topaz-coloured, with fine old gold tints. Of strong aroma, it displays an intense bouquet - more spiritual than spirituous - with warm hints of spices (cinnamon, vanilla). On the palate it is round and rich in tannins, developing towards a lush and lingering aftertaste. This is a serious Brandy and will rival most Cognacs in the $75+ price point in terms of quality.

Cardenal Mendoza
Solera Gran Reserva: Sanchez Romate
It was named Cardenal Mendoza in honour of an eminent figure from Spanish history, Cardenal Pedro Gonzalez de Mendoza (1423 - 1495), who lived during the reign of the Catholic Monarchs, Isabella and Ferdinand, and played an important role in promoting the 'discovery' of America, interceding with the Monarchs on behalf of Christopher Columbus.
The Brandy is aged in American oak casks that have previously been used for the ageing of Pedro Ximénez and old Oloroso wines. These oak casks form part of one of the largest Brandy Solera Gran Reseva bodegas in the world, a definitive guarantee of the age and quality of this brandy.
This Brandy is deep mahogany in color, and exhibits rich smooth flavors of sweet coffee, chocolate, spice, and mild fruitiness. Competes with Cognac $150 and up. Really outstanding stuff.

Gran Duque D'Alba
This is without question one of the greatest Brandies in the world.
The extraordinary characteristics of this brandy are the result of a painstaking selection of the materials it is made with. It begins with the selection of excellent Palomino and Airen white wines; early distillation and the methods employed are decisive to the final quality of the holandas, which are aged in casks of American oak that have previously been aged with oloroso sherry.
Gold-highlighted mahogany colour and the complexity of the aromas. The palate is medium-dry, smooth and full, with burnt undertones and hints of vanilla, followed by a long, pleasing finish. Outstandingly rich. Competes with Cognac over $300.
